SAC- Handmade in England. These exceptional chess pieces depict the battle of the Celts. This chess set is the story of the battle between the Irish King Brian Boru and the Viking invaders. The battle took place at Clontarf near Dublin. Although the Celts managed to defeat the Vikings their King was slain. This chess set features characters from that battle and depicts Celtic designs and artefacts from that period.

King Size: 4 1/2 ".
Square size to suit: 50mm.
Packaging: These pieces are packaged in a fitted presentation box. This set is also supplied with a parchment story sheet which gives the history of the set and details of the characters.
