Mancala - The game itself originates from Africa.
Object of the Game -
Two players compete against each other trying to accumulate as many stones as possible before one of the players clears his or her side of all stones.
Play -
The first player picks up all the stones in any or all of their own 6 small bins. They then start to sow them by placing one stone in each bin to the right continuing counterclockwise around the board, including placing a stone in thier mancala but not in the opponents mancala. If the player places their last stone in their in their own mancala, they then get another turn. If the last stone is placed in an empty on their ide of th eother board he captures all the stones in his opponents bin directly across from that bin. All captured stones plus the capturing stone get placed in their own mancala. Once a player touches the stones they must play them. Players are not allowed to touch the stones to count them.
Winning the Game -
The game ends when one of the players runs out of stones in their small bins. When this happens the other player gets to place any stones remaining in their own bins in their own mancala(it's not always wise to be the first to go out). The winning player is the one ending up with most stones.
